Thank you for your interest in TOTAL BODY CONDITIONING FOR WOMEN RUNNERS™, the first CD designed specifically to improve running technique, core strength, flexibility and total body strength for women runners. Developed by Pete and Christine Pfitzinger along with international fitness consultant John Lythe, this interactive CD contains photo sequences and video for over 60 exercises arranged into 31 effective, innovative and time-efficient conditioning programs. This CD is for women runners who want to enhance running performance, prevent injuries and feel great.
"After just a few sessions, the programs from your CD are already helping. I am alternating between a core strengthening program, a flexibility program and a total-body conditioning program. For the first time in weeks I feel more balanced and my back isn't sore after running. The weird part is that it's not like up until now I've been slacking off when it comes to core strengthening and stretching. But I think the key is that your CD provides a systematic approach. Honestly...I am psyched." - Patty Fulton, Silver Spring, Maryland "I've gone through everything on your CD and can't tell you enough how well organized and well thought out everything is. The way it is presented gives you a great way to build and work toward the next level, confidently! And if a picture says a thousand words, then the video instruction says a million! Really. You can doubt yourself so much when you are just looking at pictures of how to do things, but the video helps you feel confident you are doing everything correctly." - Carol LeGate, Green Bay, Wisconsin How to use Total Body Conditioning for Women Runners The programs are arranged into 5 sections:
Each section has programs designed to meet your needs, whether this is your first exercise program or you have years of experience. "Your CD is fantastic. I like how you can incorporate the exercises and stretches into any athletic interest. I’m using it for my fitness classes. It’s easy to navigate and has very thorough workout plans. I really love the click-on videos and the printable pages that I can work from. You made a very professional and original training tool in a simple-and-easy-to-use fashion. What a brilliant idea!" - Cathy Anastasio, Melville, New York "Pete and Christine,
Although the programs vary in length from 8 minutes to an hour, most consist of 6 to 10 exercises and take 25 to 35 minutes to complete. Each program explains how often you should do the exercises and how to progress as your conditioning improves. We also explain how to determine when you are ready to move on to a more advanced program. Total Body Conditioning for Women Runners also includes an index of all the exercises on the CD, so you can design your own conditioning programs. "Now that I am in my late thirties, it is hard to avoid running injuries. I've known for some time that core stability and form drills should be important components of my training program in terms of avoiding imbalances, but the problem had been figuring out which exercises to do and how to do them properly. This CD solves that problem. This is the only information I have found that contains numerous running-specific total body workouts, along with detailed explanations and video demonstrations. It is a key addition to my training program. I just wish you had called it 'Total Body Conditioning for Runners.'" - Byrne Decker, Yarmouth, Maine "I have recently purchased the CD and love it ! I am giving it for Christmas to all my friends." - Stephanie Pepin, Montgomery, Alabama
