Human Kinetics is branded "the information leader in physical activity" with good reason: The company offers a cornucopia of books, textbooks, software, and journals spanning the range of human athletic performance endeavors from running and other endurance sports to strength training to dance to aquatics. A very user-friendly site.

Nutrition, Hydration, and Injuries

Fitter, Smarter, Stronger is the creation of John Lythe, a New Zealand-based sport scientist who works with a range of elite athletes in areas such as strength and conditioning, laboratory physiological testing, and video analysis. Included on his Web site are a variety of conditioning exercises and routines pertinent to a slew of sports, with pictures for demonstration and in-depth explanation of the exercises.

The Gatorade Sports Science Institute site contains a wealth of information on sports nutrition and exercise scientists for athletes, scientists, coaches, medical professionals, athletic trainers, nutritionists and other sports health professionals. Fans of the Pfitzinger Lab Report will love this site for its assortment of technical but easily understood material.
